Choc'laCure 2011 has raised over $225,000
in support of the Saskatoon Cancer Centre
On behalf of our sponsors, donators, guests, volunteers and the entire Choc'laCure 2011 Committee, a cheque for $225,455 was presented to the Saskatoon Cancer Centre. Accepting the cheque from Shelley Gregg, Choc'laCure chairperson, is Dr. Colum Smith, VP of Medical Services for the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency. This concludes our 2011 campaign and we look forward to 2012 with much optimism as we continue to raise funds for the new Stereotactic Radiosurgery Treatment Program. Thank you for your support!!!
Choc'laCure is pleased to announce that over $225,000 was raised... and this number continues to climb!!
This year's campaign will help fund the new Stereotactic Radiosurgery Treatment Program at the Saskatoon Cancer Centre. Patients will no longer be required to leave the province for this non-surgical treatment, helping attract and retain specialists, while creating a centre of excellence right here in Saskatoon.
To date, Choc'laCure has provided over $750,000 for equipment used in treatment at the Saskatoon Cancer Centre.
